The Pali Cannon, penned in Sri Lanka between 600 BC and one hundred BC, states that sexual relations, whether of homosexual or of heterosexual nature, is forbidden in the monastic code, and states that any functions of soppy homosexual sex (which include masturbation and interfumeral sexual intercourse) does not entail a punishment but must be conf
